Will it work straight away?
Yes — insert two AAA batteries, pair to your Sky Q box in 2 minutes, done.
Is this an official Sky remote?
No — and you don't need it to be. Compatible replacements use the same infrared codes as the official remote. Every button works identically. The only difference is the box it came in.
My old remote had a glass strip at the top — is this the same?
No. The glass strip is the touchpad version (EC202). This is the EC101 — standard plastic buttons only. If you need the touchpad version, please check our other listings.
Does it support voice search?
No. This remote has no microphone or voice function. For voice control you need the Sky Q Voice Remote (EC202).
What batteries does it take?
2 × AAA batteries. These are not included.
